STEP 1: Your jungle starts life as a simple pile of bases. Suitable bases include those pictured above. Even metal washers of various sizes can be used. It's up to you to choose what works best. |
STEP 2: Now we need some plastic foliage. You can purchase packs of really cool jungle plants and from the online store. Since each pack contains several blocks, you can easily arrange these adapt them as suggested below. |
STEP 3: If you get the right kind of plastic plant, you'll find that it is made up of tiny segments. Pull some of these apart and get ready to make a jungle. |
STEP 4: With a hot glue gun, affix the plant segments to your base in a ring or suitable pattern as the particular plant type demands. Be careful - glue guns get very hot! |
STEP 5: Set your plants aside for now and cut out a base for your jungle. It can be made from cardboard, hardboard, or foamcore - whatever you are most comfortable working with. |
STEP 6: After cutting out the base, texture and flock it appropriately. Ideally, you want it to match the surface of your gaming table. |
STEP 7: Finish off your plant stands by flocking them as you did your base in the previous step. Set the pieces aside to dry. |
STEP 8: You're done! If you look at the clock, you'll see that it probably took you about 5 minutes to finish a stand of jungle foliage. Not bad, eh? |

If you get a good rhythm going, you can create a ton of jungle terrain in no time. |
